    Description

Beatles "Ballad of John and Yoko"/"Old Brown Shoe" Pocket Disc Flexi (Apple 2531P, 1969). Originally issued with a red or blue "Pocket Disc" sleeve in July 1969, this neat little 4" flexi single is incredibly rare, as not very many were sold. Designed to be sold in vending machines, Pocket Discs were issued for several popular Rock acts of the late 1960s, including Cream, Van Morrison, Jimi Hendrix, and four different offerings from the Beatles. Other than this "Ballad of John and Yoko"/"Old Brown Shoe" flexi, other Beatles Pocket Discs include "Hey Jude"/"Revolution," "Yellow Submarine"/"Eleanor Rigby," and - also offered in this auction - "Get Back"/"Don't Let Me Down." Condition: NM 8
