DescriptionLot of (8) Vintage Nashville, TN Concert Handbills. A nice collection of eight handbills for various acts circa 1977-1980. Includes: 1) A black and white flyer for an Allman Bros. Band and Emmylou Harris concert at Municipal Auditorium in 1980, along with a black and white flyer on the verso for an Emmylou Harris/Steve Forbert concert at the Grand Ole Opry House. Measures 5 ½" x 8 ½" and grades to Very Good condition. Was once folded down in sixths, with only a tiny bit of black color broken in the ARS logo but apparently nowhere else; and two small rust lines directly to the left of the Allman Brothers' name; 2) Made on pink paper, this handbill is for a Jethro Tull concert in 1977 at Municipal Auditorium. Measures 5 ½" x 8 ½" and grades to Near Mint Minus condition; 3) Made on yellow paper, this handbill is for a Willie Nelson/Emmylou Harris concert at Municipal Auditorium in 1977. Measures 5 ½" x 8 ½" and grades to Near Mint condition; 4) A green handbill for a Billy Joel concert in 1977 at the Grand Ole Opry House. Measures 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and grades to Very Good Plus condition; 5) A white handbill for a Billy Joel concert in 1979 at Municipal Auditorium. Measures 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and grades to Near Mint condition; 6) A gold/yellow handbill for a Blue Öyster Cult show at Municipal Auditorium in 1978. Measures 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and grades to Near Mint condition; 7) A white and black handbill for a concert featuring REO Speedwagon and Rainbow at Municipal Auditorium in 1978. Measures 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and grades to Very Good Plus condition, with what appears to be a slight, light footprint on the bottom white margin; 8) A yellow handbill for the Outlaws/Atlanta Rhythm Section at Municipal Auditorium in 1977. Measures 5 3/8" x 8 5/8" and grades to Near Mint Minus condition. COA from Heritage Auctions.
