DescriptionJudy Garland Acetate 78s (2) (MGM, circa 1939 &1942).
Two 78 recordings in brown sleeves. Both sleeves are in Good condition with considerable creasing and folds at the opening. Includes: 1) A portion of a Wizard of Oz radio play. Dated "6-29-39," it is for "Part 13" and titled, "Broadcast #79 / (For Judy Garland)." Two-sided. The disc number is "MGM 25921." In GD 3.5 condition with major scratches, but plays through without any jumps or skips; 2) A performance of "After You've Gone." Dated "4-2-42," it is for scene 2413. Titled "After You've Gone" with the disc number of "mgm 26587." One-sided. In GD-VG 4 condition with mis-pressing condition with major scratches, but plays throughout jumps or skips. Appears to have worn down by deterioration. COA from Heritage Auctions.
