The Beatles Red Jet Electric Guitar in Box Plus Granada Amplifier in Box by Selcol (2) (UK, 1964). This is a first. We have never had the pleasure to offer the Red Jet Electric guitar plus the accompanying Granada Amplifier in the box. This combo is a true rarity and very hard to find especially with their respective original boxes. 1) Plastic guitar measuring approx: 31½" long with orange colored body. Features white colored neck and pick guard. Also includes: tuning and volume controls, whammy bar, guitar pick, Selcol sticker and rope strap. Guitar shows wear with some marks and scratches but no cracks. The coffin-shaped cardboard display box measures approx: 34.5" x 13" x 4 3/4" and bears a 9" diameter color label with Beatles photo, facsimile autographs and the text: "Beatles Electric Guitar." Box has significant wear, tape residue, tearing with the handle included but detached from the box. 2) Selcol Granada 4 transistor amplifier type 843 with original box. Amp shows wear but still looks nice. In box measuring approx: 9.5" by 13" by 5 1/4". Box printing is still very legible and shows wear, some staining and a few tears. The original tape has come loose but we wanted to leave it as is to keep it in all original condition. We can't stress enough how rare this lot is with both examples together. Truly a cornerstone combo for the collection. From The Connie and Dennis Dailey Monumental Beatles Collection. COA from Heritage Auctions.
