Description

Mötley Crüe -- A Nikki Sixx Signed Concert Played Schecter Diamond Series Bass Guitar, 2015. Headstock reads "Schecter / Diamond Series / Sixx," rosewood fretboard with pearl dot inlays, black body, black pickguard, duct tape in the form of an "X" affixed to body, "opti grab handle" has been removed, signed in silver ink on the body "Nikki / Sixx," serial number "W14060430;" included with a 'Letter of Authenticity' reading in part "This is a black Schecter bass that I played on (the) Final Tour. It was / played by me over the course of many of our 2015 shows," signed in black felt-tip ink in the lower center "Nikki / Sixx." (Please note there is evident wood chipping on the body.)
    Length: 48"

Sixx has a special piece of metal he puts on most of his concert-played guitars that he calls an "opti grab handle" which he uses to rest his thumb on while playing. Whenever he grows tired of a guitar, he will usually have his tech remove it so they can use it on another guitar. This is apparent with this guitar -- that the "opti grab handle" was removed - the screws are snapped off on the handle and are still stuck in the bass body.
