Gretsch Traveling Wilburys TW-300 Limited Edition Solid Body Electric Guitar, with Original Box. A series of Gretsch guitars were produced in 1988 at George Harrison's request for promotion of his super group which included Roy Orbison, Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, and Jeff Lynne. There were six different models manufactured in Korea, designed to be reminiscent of the Danelectro models of the 1950s and 60s. The large majority of the production was of the smaller-body TW-100/ TW-100T models and the TW-200. This full size TW-300 features a humbucker pickup in the neck position, a tremolo, and a pickguard with the group's logo. The finish is white with decorative Wilburys graphics on the top (no two are exactly alike) and facsimile group signatures on the back. The TW-300 was apparently Nelson Wilbury's (George Harrison's) model of choice as there are photos of him holding one (reprints included) and he is seen playing one in the original video for "Handle With Care". Tremolo bar is included as is the original graphic box. Guitar is near mint, rarely if ever played. Box has been taped and shows wear, very good.
