Elvis Presley Related - Color Portrait of Gladys and Vernon Presley Gifted to Elvis by Colonel Parker and His Wife (1964). A 23.5" x 19.5" (sight size) color textured print of Elvis' beloved parents in an elaborate gold frame, overall 30" x 26", signed at lower left: "Wm Speer '55". This photo was originally taken in 1955 by local Memphis photographer William Speer at about the same time he took the very first professional portraits of Elvis as arranged by Bob Neal. In 1964, Colonel Tom Parker and his wife commissioned Speer to produce this oiled portrait with the intention of giving it to Elvis as a present, which they did. It is signed on the back: "To Elvis with our best From Mrs. Parker and the Colonel. March 12, 1964". Included with the lot is a 14" x 11" B&W photographic print of this pose from Speer's studio as well as two letters from the Colonel's office regarding the order (one signed "Colonel"). Some damage to the frame, otherwise Excellent. THIRD PARTY SHIPPING REQUIRED.

The movie quite literally changed my life. I have included a pic of me in Sly's Rocky 3 Cashmere overcoat, would much appreciate if it is possible for you to forward this email to Sly to let him know the overcoat is in good hands, and will be well taken care of, (as will be the Rambo knife forging tools, the other lot I won!) Wish you very happy holidays and a great 2016!
