    Description

Rolling Stones Unsigned Work Agreement for Their 1965 Appearance on Shindig. A two-page, double-sided Department of Justice Petition to Classify Nonimmigrant as Temporary Worker or Trainee form, unsigned and undated, filled out by Selmur Productions Inc. on behalf of the band. The form specifies an appearance on "a taped television program" by the original members of the band; specifically, their legendary May 26, 1965 appearance on Shindig. The show was a precursor to MTV, and that particular episode also featured Teri Garr as a featured dancer and Glen Campbell, Billy Preston, and Leon Russell as studio musicians. Though unsigned, the form is nevertheless a rare record of an important early TV appearance by the iconic band, and it is in Very Fine to Excellent condition with mild wear and toning, and a small tear to the top center margin.
