New York Dolls - An Arthur "Killer" Kane Large Collection of Handwritten Documents (1980s-1990s). An extensive group of paperwork, both handwritten (in various colors of ballpoint ink or pencil) or typed on assorted types of paper (lined notebook paper, plain paper, stationery, notepads, etc.) outlining Kane's thoughts, ideas, song lyrics, lists, and biographical details ("Arthur introduces himself to JT [Johnny Thunders]," and "1973 Dolls sign with Mercury," etc.) -- overall, quite comprehensive and fascinating not only for Dolls fans but for rock-n-roll historians as Kane writes of the social mores and attitudes of his era ("...being a longhair on the subway in 1972 could be a life threatening scene"); consigned directly by Kane's widow, Barbara Garrison Kane; included with a 'Letter of Provenance' from her.
