Description
Nat King Cole Sent Western Union Telegram Sent Day Before His Death. Western Union telegram sent by Nat King Cole on February 14, 1965. The following morning, Cole passed away from lung cancer. This heavily toned, lightly creased, and folded telegram is about declining an appearance, which he called a "wonderful occasion." Measures 8.5" x 5.5".
