Jimi Hendrix-Related Group of Framed Items (c. 1960s). From the personal possessions of Lawrence Lee, one of Hendrix's band mates from the early 1960s, before he got famous, including: 1) a framed display comprising a leather pouch, a leather watch band, two hotel keys, and a plastic string winder; typed legend on the verso reads "Pick pouch and hippie watch band given to Larry Lee from Jimi Hendrix, two hotel keys one Larry one Jimi and string winder from road case Woodstock" (all pieces mounted to red velvet background); 2) four black and white snapshots - one showing Hendrix and Lee circa 1963 and another showing Hendrix with The Bonnevilles; and 3) a display showing a number of items which, according to a typed legend on the verso, are "Larry Lee's union cards, phone numbers of Jimi's house and Woodstock house and all related numbers to Jimi Hendrix during Woodstock period, a stage pass to see Jimi at Memphis show, receipt for fifteen hundred dollars Jimi gave Larry Lee to send to his wife during the Woodstock period from New York, New York."
