    Elvis Presley's First Appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show Payout Letter From Tom Parker (1956). Mailed to Elvis' parents' home in Memphis, this typed payout letter signed by Col. Tom Parker (with a pencil) was for Elvis' first appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show. Dated September 18, 1956. After a commission fee, taxes, agency fee, flight fee, and musician fees, Elvis' take-home pay was $6,025.36 from an original payment of $16,666.66. This flattened letter (and its accompanying letter) comes framed. Both items are adhesed to soft backing boards for display reasons. Frame measures 14 ¼" x 24 ¼". Letter is in Very Good Plus condition with fold and creasing marks, while the letter has its right side torn. LOA from Graceland.
