    Description

Whitney Houston Stage-Worn Dolce & Gabbana Shoes, 1999. A pair of green satin Dolce & Gabbana shoes, with red heels, pink-and-green floral embroidery, adorned with peach-colored rhinestones, worn by Whitney Houston on stage during her 1999 My Love Is Your Love tour. In Fine condition, with some wear to the insoles. Includes a black Dolce & Gabbana storage bag. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from the Estate of Whitney E. Houston.

Whitney blazed a trail by being one of the first performers to partner with a famous clothing designer for a tour. Dolce & Gabbana were, and still are, one of the top women's fashion designers on the planet. Each tour outfit, from head to toe, was personally designed by the fashion house to Whitney's specifications.

See Oprah Whitney Houston TV Special, June 21, 1999, where Whitney and Dolce and Gabbana show and discuss the collection. Also seen in the Whitney Houston exhibit in the Grammy Museum from August 1, 2012 through May 27, 2013.
