Stevie Ray Vaughan Texas Flood Promotional Hat (Epic Records, 1983). A size 7 black, broad-rimmed bolero-style hat by Texas Hatters, Stevie Ray's favorite hatmaker. It is known in their catalog as a Plateau or the SRV. The hat band bears eight silver-colored conchos, each with a lone star design. On the sweatband is printed in silver: "Stevie Ray Vaughan/ 'Texas Flood'/ Epic Records" along with the manufacturer's logo. Issued as a promotional item for his first album, rarely offered.
