Rolling Stones and Gram Parsons-Related Sweater Made by Nudie's Rodeo Tailors (1969). Black wool, crew neck, zip-up front, zip-up cuffs, front, back and sleeves adorned with swirling maroon embroidery and rhinestones; still housed in its original 'Nudie's Rodeo Tailors' box with tissue paper having a 'Nudie's' sticker; legend has it that Nudie Cohn made five similarly-designed sweaters like this for the Stones (as well as for some other rock stars) in 1969 but somehow this particular one got left behind in the shop; interestingly, both Keith Richards and Gram Parsons wore their Nudie's sweaters (that are similar but not exact to this one) at the infamous Altamont Free Concert that took place in Northern California in December 1969 (Parsons wore his with a snakeskin vest over it); and though there is no Nudie's label in this sweater, it is definitely the work of the famous tailor (albeit not his usual blazer, pants, belt or hat).
