Michael Jackson's Hat with 1972 School Yearbook. In the early 1970s, Michael Jackson and some of his brothers attended the private Walton School in Panorama City, California. One of Jackson's teachers, who had the boys as students in two of his classes, remembers him as a shy inquisitive boy who wore a hat to school almost everyday. Jackson gave this particular black velour cap to the teacher as a gift in 1972, upon learning that the instructor had a collection of hats belonging to Hollywood stars. The hat is in Excellent condition and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity and a copy of the Walton School yearbook for the class of '72, which features student photos of Michael and brothers Jermaine, Marlon, and Tito on pages 12 and 13, as well as a classroom photo of Jackson on page 19.
