Metallica - James Hetfield Black Leather Pants Worn on the Cover of Rolling Stone Magazine (1993). James Hetfield, the legendary singer of Metallica, wore these black leather pants on the cover of the April 15, 1993 Rolling Stone magazine. Through the rise of grunge in the early 1990s, one metal band stood tall amongst all the rest: the mighty Metallica. The "black album" Metallica had been released over a year earlier and was still high on the charts, and the band had been touring nearly non-stop since its release. Metallica set a new bar for all hard rock records to follow, won a Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance, and has appeared on countless lists of the greatest albums of all time.

How great are these pants? When Hetfield appeared on the cover of Rolling Stone, he was shirtless. 'Nuff said. They are a tremendous memento of Metallica at their peak! Obtained directly from the pants designer, Terri E. King. COA signed by the designer, Terri E. King, and with the above-referenced issue of Rolling Stone magazine.
