John Lennon Owned and Worn Black Beret (Luton, c. 1970s). John Lennon was often seen around New York City wearing this black felt Luton beret. John had donated this and other personal items to be sold for charity by radio station WFIL-AM, in Philadelphia. The hat measures approximately 10.5" across, and has several small holes from wear, but was professionally cleaned; overall VG+ condition. The hat is not signed, but a letter of authenticity from well-known radio DJ Dan Donovan, mentioning this as his "favorite," is included.
