Jimi Hendrix's Bassist Noel Redding's Black Velvet Jacket With Autographed LOA. As the first member to be recruited into The Jimi Hendrix Experience, bassist Noel Redding helped transform the sound of music. This black velvet jacket with red piping was owned by Redding and given by him to guitarist Bari Watts in 1992. As with most jackets owned by guitarists, there is an area of damage to one sleeve: the velvet along on the inner right seam displays minor areas of chafing from guitar-playing (Redding was right-handed). The jacket is accompanied by a handwritten letter of authenticity from Noel Redding, addressed to Bari Watts and signed by Redding in black ink. An autograph with inscription dedicated to the item's recent owner is also included, signed by Redding in blue ballpoint. Though there is a 1.5" area of detached red piping, the jacket is in overall Very Fine condition. Accompanied by an LOA from Noel Redding and a COA from PSA/DNA.
