Jimi Hendrix Owned/Worn Black Velvet Jacket (1960s). Jimi Hendrix had spent much of the '60s in a variety of bands, but had to go to England to really launch his meteoric career, spending the last three months of 1966 and much of 1967 in London, and forming The Experience (Jimi, Noel Redding, and Mitch Mitchell). Here's an ultra-cool long black velvet jacket from Dandie Fashions that the great guitarist put to good use during his London days. It shows a few stains and some stress at a seam in the back near the right shoulder, but is otherwise is in Very Fine condition.
