Jimi Hendrix Owned and Worn Necklace. A pendant necklace owned and worn by Jimi Hendrix, given to his best friend Mike Quashie, New York's "Limbo King" for safekeeping when Hendrix traveled to England in 1970 shortly before his death. His "peace" pendant necklace was one of the items he left with Quashie. Known for his unique fashion sense, Hendrix must have made much use of this necklace, as the back of the pendant and beads are tarnished due to perspiration and frequent wear. Although the back clasp has been removed, this extraordinary piece is in overall Very Fine condition. An incredibly rare find from the late music legend, supplemented with a well-documented provenance. Accompanied by a notarized affidavit from Mike Quashie as well as a New York Times article on Mr. Quashie's Hendrix-owned pieces.
