Jimi Hendrix Owned and Worn Collar and Armbands. Owned and worn by Jimi Hendrix, this set of matching leopard print armbands and collar was given to his noted best friend Mike Quashie, New York's "Limbo King." to store while Hendrix left for England, just shortly before his untimely death. This set of armbands and collar are among those items left with Quashie 38 years ago, and since then have been professionally mounted in a 38" x 27" frame alongside a photograph of Hendrix wearing the matching cuffs, which have since been separated from the set. Known for his eclectic style, Hendrix set the flamboyant tone for the psychedelia movement with pieces like these. In Excellent condition. Accompanied by a notarized affidavit from Mike Quashie as well as a New York Times article on Mr. Quashie's Hendrix-owned pieces.
