    J. D. Sumner's The Three Nails Stage Worn Costume. Includes the robe, sandals, and pouch worn by onetime Elvis Presley back-up singer J. D. Sumner in the lead role of "Josh" in the highly acclaimed musical drama production of 1971 from Gospel Festival, U.S.A. -- The Three Nails. The costume is accompanied by a sealed LP copy of the cast album, program book, promo handbill, and a three-page contract dated June 10, 1970 and signed by the late Dottie Rambo, the Oak Ridge Boys' William Lee Golden, and of course, the late J. D. Sumner. The costume and LP are in Excellent condition, and the documents are in Very Fine condition. From the J. D. Sumner Archives. Accompanied by a letter of provenance from Shirley Sumner Enoch.
