    Description

Elvis Presley Shelby County Sheriff Department Jumpsuit (1977). The Shelby County (Memphis) Sheriff's Department gave Elvis three jumpsuits over the years, this one presented in August, 1977, just before Elvis' passing. Vernon Presley gave the suit to Tom Morgan, Administrative Assistant to the Sheriff following Elvis' death, in appreciation of Morgan's coordinating the security of Graceland during the time of Elvis' funeral. Morgan describes, "This suit is the standard departmental jumpsuit, having long sleeves with name and rank embroidered above the right pocket and above the left pocket is the metro aviation patch. Also on Elvis' jumpsuit was the department patch and the SWAT team patch."
The suit's in pristine condition, having never been worn. LOA from Tom Morgan.
