Elvis Presley Related - J. D. Summer Sweater and Tie Belt w/ Photos J. D. Sumner serenades a group of children in this never-before-seen photo, which also includes another of Elvis Presley's favorite gospel singers, Jake Hess of the Statesmen Quartet. Included here is the heavy cardigan sweater Sumner is wearing in the photo and an accompanying tie belt. Note also J. D.'s boots, which we're also offering in this auction. This photo (and another included, which you can see at our website) was taken at Belmont University circa early 1980s, while Sumner was rehearsing for an upcoming solo album released later in the year. The sweater's in great shape, ready to wear or display among your other Elvis-related memorabilia!
From the J. D. Sumner Archives. Accompanied by a letter of provenance from Shirley Sumner Enoch.
