    Description

    Elton John Personally Owned and Worn Quarterflash Tour Jacket (Circa 1982). Purple acetate shell and lining, with jersey knit collar, cuffs, and waist, chrome button snaps, and metallic silver piping, with "Elton" embroidered on the left breast in silver, with the Quarterflash logo in silver across the back. Label reads "LP Designs by Mary Bassel", with size tag "6 / 42 / L". Shoulders measure 18", with 24" sleeves. Fine condition, exhibiting little wear.

    This jacket is from Elton's 1982-83 tour in support of his album Jump Up! Label-mates Quarterflash - of "Harden My Heart" fame - served as the opening act for the tour.
