Alice Cooper - Neal Smith Stage-Worn Tassel-Fringe Vest (circa 1970/1971). This vest is a fantastic piece, with a look of contrasting times and places, and was that ever Alice Cooper! With its black lace back, red and clear sequins, and thick trim of tassels, it's look is at once vaudevillian, western, and something out of this world. Neal appeared in this on stage during the Love it to Death era, their first commercial hit, and album containing the immortal anthem of youth, "I'm Eighteen." This piece would have caused quite a stir in the early 1970s, as he and the band entertained and thrilled legions of fans! Fashioned by his sister and excellent couturier Cindy, it is in stage-worn condition. From the Neal Smith Alice Cooper Collection.
