Blinds & Shutters Deluxe Signed Limited Edition #823/5000 (Genesis Publications, 1990). It's easy to see why this publication has long been a 'sold-out' commodity. It's been called "The most stupendous rock and roll picture book ever assembled." by USA Today. Photographer Michael Cooper's most well-known assignment is probably the album cover for the Beatles' Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band album, and his association with Robert Fraser and the Stones and the Beatles, provided the perfect foundation for this ambitious documentary of the Sixties; a 368-page book of great dimension, both in size (10" x 14") and content 600 images featuring the likes of the Beatles, Eric Clapton, George Harrison, Mick Jagger, Paul McCartney, Keith Richards, Ringo Starr, Klaus Voorman, Andy Warhol, Charlie Watts, Bill Wyman, and others. The book is fully bound in leather and buckram and housed in a silkscreened solander box with a unique image inset, with no two copies the same! Ninety-three contributors include Eric Clapton, Marianne Faithfull, and George Harrison; Mick Jagger and Keith Richards provide forewords; and the edition is signed by Eric Clapton, Bill Wyman, Andy Warhol, and 7 other contributors. The book's in Near Mint condition; the box is in Near Mint except for one corner which has a seam split.
