Billie Holiday Signed Photo (Circa 1941). A 10" x 8" B&W glossy photo of the vocal legend standing behind the counter at an unidentified record store with five other people. She is holding and pointing to an Okeh 78 RPM record in a sleeve marked 35¢. She recorded for that label only during 1941 which helps to date the era of the photo. One of her biggest hits, "God Bless The Child," was released on Okeh. She has signed in blue fountain pen: "To too [sic] fine and Mellow/ people Bernie an Bill/ stay on it/ Billie Holiday". The photo is by Caldwell as marked both front and back. The photo is crinkled and stained; the signature is lightly smeared. Overall Good condition. COA from Heritage Auctions.
