Beatles "Ticket To Ride/ Yes It Is" Acetate (Capitol, 1965). "Ticket To Ride" was the first song to be recorded by the Beatles in 1965, which they completed in under four hours on February 15. It had been chosen as their next single, and on the following day they also knocked off the flip side, "Yes It Is", which only took slightly longer! When "Ticket To Ride" was released in the US on April 19, the Capitol label famously declared it to be from the film Eight Arms to Hold You, which was the planned title of HELP! at the time. This is an 8" two-sided Capitol acetate with the song information typed onto white labels. Master Nos. X45219 and -220 are indicated. It has a 1/8" high warp at one point on the outer edge on the "Yes It Is" side, with a small spot of metal showing underneath, but not affecting playablity. Disc: VG-EX6.
