DescriptionBeatles - Three Large Estorff Photos from the Scala Theatre (London, 1964). Gelatin Silver, printed later. Taken by Friedhelm von Estorff, these behind-the-scenes photos were taken at the Scala Theatre, London, during the filming of the historic Beatles movie, A Hard Day's Night. Featured here are two shots of George, one shows him seated, playfully strumming his guitar, while in the other he's eating a doughnut. Also included is a great shot of Paul, holding a camera, getting ready to do a little of his own photography. All photos measure an approximate 20" x 24", and are matted to an overall 27.5" x 31.5". Fine. From the Ulf Kruger Archive.
