    Description

Beatles - Six Photos of Beatles Fans by Friedhelm von Estorff (London, 1964). Gelatin silver, printed later. A wild, dramatic group of six large-format photographs depicting fans in the ecstatic throes of Beatlemania. A detailed glimpse into the intense passion felt by those who experienced the Beatles firsthand, these images show crying girls being consoled by security at the front of the stage, while the Fab Four play right above them; fans, having fainted, attended to by nurses on the venue floor; screaming Beatlemaniacs barely held back by police; and a massive crowd experiencing the curtural phenomenon that was the Beatles. All photos measure an approximate 20" x 24", and are matted to an overall 27.5" x 31.5". In Fine condition. From the Ulf Kruger Archive.
