    Beatles Rock 'N' Roll Music RIAA Platinum Record Award (Capitol SKBO-11537, 1976). A compilation album combining Beatle-penned hits and covers they recorded of 1950s rock composers such as Chuck Berry, Carl Perkins, and Larry Williams. It reached number two in the American charts, kept from the top spot by Paul McCartney's Wings at the Speed of Sound album. According to the plaque beneath the gold disc, this award was "Presented To The Beatles To Commemorate The Sale Of More Than 1,000,000 Copies Of The Capitol Records Long-Playing Record Album Rock 'N' Roll Music." Framed to an overall 17" x 21", and in Excellent condition with a few light dings on the frame. This award was part of a large collection that was displayed in the lobby of the California Gold Record Company and was obtained after the company was sold.
