Beatles Related: Savile Row Street Sign. An 18" x 6" porcelain street sign reading: "City of Westminster/ Savile Row/ W.1" in red and black with a screw hole in each corner and "Burnham-England" printed at lower left. The Beatles' Apple Corps. Ltd. headquarters moved into the Apple Building at 3 Savile Row in 1968. There was a recording studio in the basement where the Beatles, Badfinger, Mary Hopkins and others recorded. The "Rooftop Concert" made famous in their Let It Be film was held on the roof of their Savile Row building on January 30, 1969, their last ever live appearance as a band. This type of sign was discontinued because so many were stolen over the years by fans, with removed signs like this eventually sold off. This would look great in any Beatle collection. Light wear and bent slightly at lower left corner, fine.
