    Description

Beatles Related - Paul McCartney Signed Postcard. A 5.5" x 3.5" postcard sent to the staff of the legendary Rock venue The Cavern by Paul McCartney in October 1968. The card is addressed "The Cavern Matthew St. Liverpool where else?" and inscribed "Thanks for the afternoon. love Paul (McCartney)" by him in black ink. The postcard was sent by Paul just a few days after he made a surprise visit to the club with wife Lynda, and allowed the staff to take pictures. (Those eventually surfaced in 1993.) The postcard is in Very Fine condition with clean, bold handwriting, and is accompanied by a color 8" x 10" White Album photo print of McCartney from 1968 (Excellent condition) and a vintage Cavern Club membership card for the 1963 season (Very Good to Fine with moderate wear). Accompanied by a LOA from Beatles historian Frank Caiazzo and a COA from PSA/DNA.
