Beatles Rare Makeup Compact with Powder and Puff, Lipstick Holder, and Original Presentation Case by Kigu of London (UK, NEMS, 1964). A 3" diameter x 0.5" thick brass compact with a familiar B&W "collarless suits" celluloid-covered group photo on top. Inside the top is a mirror, facial powder (most of the original amount), and a powder puff for application. Together with the compact is a 2.375" x 0.75" diameter brass lipstick holder (empty) with an image of Paul's Höfner bass and "The Beatles" printed in black. Both are contained in a 5.5" x 4.25" x 1" white textured case imprinted "Kigu of London" inside the lid; a black velvet bag to carry the compact in your purse without scratching it is also included. This is the first of these rare sets we have had the privilege to offer. The compacts are occasionally seen (often with no powder) but the condition, case, and the lipstick holder make this an incredible rarity. Light wear on the bottom of the compact, Near Mint condition. From the Connie and Dennis Dailey Monumental Beatle Collection.
