DescriptionBeatles Rare First U.S. Tour Programs: Milwaukee and Chicago (US, 1964). In 1964, on their first US tour, the Beatles made a stop in Milwaukee on September 4, drawing record crowds and further stoking the Beatles' popularity. The programs in this lot are for back-to-back performances in Milwaukee and Chicago on September 4 and 5, 1964. Each are identical in form and measure 6.25" x 9.25". They are full of fascinating details, including adverts for Pete Seeger and Bob Dylan performances, and a full page fan on inner cover promoting the 1964-65 4th Annual Folk Music Series. The show's opening acts included The Righteous Brothers, Jackie DeShannon, The Exciters, and The Bill Black Combo. The Milwaukee example has been folded and has some modest staining on the rear cover but both are in about very good condition. The Connie and Dennis Dailey Monumental Beatles Collection.
