Whitney Houston Whitney RIAA Hologram Platinum Album Sales Award (Arista AL-8405, 1987). Her second album, and the one that catapulted her to international fame. The album received three Grammy nominations and she won in the Best Pop Vocal Performance category for "I Wanna Dance with Somebody." According to the plaque beneath the platinum disc, the award was "Presented to David Rubinson to Commemorate the Sale of More Than 2,000,000 Copies of the Arista Records Album and Cassette 'Whitney'".
