Whitney Houston - Two Asian Awards, 1986/1993. Including one circular Lucite "Radio Television Hong Kong Pop Poll '86 (RTHK)" award presented to "Whitney Houston" for "The Most Popular Female Vocalist". Measures 6.25" x 6.75". In Very Good condition with some scratches and tarnishing. The second award in the form of a framed metal plaque, the back stamped "Royal Selangor", with an etched map to the front of Asia-Pacific, a copy of the CD for "The Bodyguard" and details of sales of the soundtrack for countries in the region. With inscription "Presented to Whitney Houston from BMG Asia Pacific for sales of THE BODYGUARD in excess of 5.7 million units". Measures 15" x 12.25". In Excellent condition. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from the Estate of Whitney E. Houston.The Bodyguard is the biggest selling motion picture soundtrack of all time, with more than 45 million copies sold to date. It went 17 x platinum in the U.S.
