Whitney Houston MTV Japan Award for "International Outstanding Achievement", 2004. With base engraved to read "2004/ International Outstanding Achievement/ Whitney Houston". Measures approximately 13" x 3" x 3". In Excellent condition. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from the Estate of Whitney E. Houston.Originally, this award was for the entirety of Asia but switched in 2002 to only Japan due to their burgeoning record market. On this MTV awards show, winners were chosen through online voting. As she did in nearly every other part of the planet, Whitney enjoyed great success in Japan through touring and outstanding record sales.
