    Whitney Houston CRIA (Canadian) Platinum Sales Award for I'm Your Baby Tonight, 1991 [and] RIAA Hologram Multi-Platinum Video Sales Award for The Star Spangled Banner, 1991. (1) The plaque beneath the CD is inscribed "Presented to Whitney Houston to commemorate the sale of over 100,000 units of the Arista Recording 'I'm Your Baby Tonight' February 1991". Frame measures 15" x 15". In Excellent condition. (2) The plaque on the video award is inscribed "Presented to Whitney Houston for More Than 100,000 Sales of the 6 West Home Video 'The Star Spangled Banner'". Frame measures 13" x 16.75". In Excellent condition. Each item accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from the Estate of Whitney E. Houston.

    I'm Your Baby Tonight was Miss Houston's third album; it spent twenty-two weeks in the Top Ten and has sold more than twelve million copies to date. It generated two Number One singles- the title track and "All the Man That I Need." These two songs, along with "I Belong to You," were all nominated for Grammys. The Canadian Recording Industry Association is now named Music Canada and serves essentially the same purpose as the RIAA in the US.

    This performance of The Star Spangled Banner was recorded at Super Bowl XXV in Tampa on January 27, 1991, just days after the start of the Persian Gulf war. It was released, due to popular request, as a single and video the next month. The proceeds were donated to the American Red Cross Gulf Crisis Fund.
