The Who Lifetime Achievement Grammy Award. Founded in 1964 by Roger Daltrey, Pete Townshend, John Entwistle, and Keith Moon, the Who quickly became one of the most influential bands of the 1960s and '70s thanks in part to their cutting-edge music and energetic performances. This crystal statuette by Tiffany was presented to the band in 2001 by the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, in recognition of their creative contributions over 37 years of making music (other recipients that year included the Beach Boys, Tony Bennett, Sammy Davis Jr., and Bob Marley). The award stands 9.5" high and is in Excellent condition.
