The Rolling Stones RIAA 'Gold' Disc Award for the 1965 Single "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction". Vintage RIAA gold record award for their first #1 U.S. hit "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction", which has been listed at #2 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the "500 Greatest Songs of All Time." Measuring 13.25" x 17.25" overall, plaque reading "Presented to / Mick Jagger / To Commemorate the Sale of More Than / One Million Copies of the / London Records / Pop Single Record / '(I Can't Get No) / Satisfaction.'" Awards presented to the recording artists themselves are seldom offered and are very desirable, especially those issued to a Rock legend like Jagger. Provenance: Originally displayed in the lobby of the California Gold Record Company and was obtained after the company was sold; Heritage Auctions, April 27, 2014, Lot 46595. Framed and matted, exhibits light handling wear to the frame and light wear to the mat. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
