    The Best of the Animals RIAA White Matte Gold Sales Award Presented to the Artist (MGM SE-4324, 1966). The band's first greatest hits package and their only LP to have been certified gold in the US, The Best of the Animals contained their biggest hits, including "We Gotta Get out of This Place", "House of the Rising Sun", and "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood". According to the plaque beneath the gold disc, this award was presented to "The Animals to Commemorate the Sale of More Than One Million Dollars Worth of the MGM Records Long-Playing Record Album 'The Best of the Animals'". Framed in wood to an overall 17.5" x 21.5". In Fine condition, with some scratches to the frame.
