The Beatles Presented Meet the . . . White Matte RIAA Gold Sales Award. A gold sales award for the first compilation of Beatles cuts released by Capitol in 1964, presented to the Fabs. According to the plaque in the bottom center portion, "Presented To / The Beatles / To Commemorate the Sale of More Than / One Million Dollars Worth of the / Capitol Records / Long-Playing Record Album / 'Meet the Beatles!" Measures 17 ½" x 21 ½". In Very Good Plus condition with toning/foxing on the matte, along with chipping and scratches on the frame. COA from Heritage Auctions.
