Description

The Beatles 1967-1970 RIAA Platinum Album Sales Award (Capitol SKBO-3404, 1976). Unlike the first volume, the tracklist for this second post-breakup compilation was compiled not by the band themselves, but by manager Allen Klein. The album reached number one in the US, and number two in the UK. According to the plaque beneath the platinum disc, this award was presented to recording/mastering engineer Gregory Fulginiti "to Commemorate the Sale of More Than 1,000,000 Copies of the Capitol Records, Inc. Long-Playing Record Album 'The Beatles 1967-1970'". Framed to 16.75" x 20.75". Fine condition, with light wear to the frame.
