Starship No Protection Gold Award, 1987. RIAA Gold Record Sales Award (Grunt/RCA) 6413-1-G, 1987). Released in July of 1987, Starship's sophomore offering was the last to feature Grace Slick's vocals, peaking at number 12 on the Billboard 200 Album Chart. According to the plaque beneath the gold disc, this award was "Presented to David Rubinson to Commemorate the Sale of More Than 500,000 Copies of the Grunt/RCA Records Album and Cassette 'No Protection'". Framed in a glossy black finish to an overall 17" x 21" and in Excellent condition.Auction Info
