Spinners Mighty Love RIAA White Matte Gold Sales Award (Atlantic SD 7296, 1974). The second album for Atlantic, and fourth overall, Mighty Love reached number one on the R&B albums chart, and hit number 16 on the Billboard 200 albums chart. According to the plaque beneath the gold disc, the award was "Presented to Charles Simmons to Commemorate the Sale of More Than One Million Dollars Worth of the Atlantic Records Long-Playing Record Album 'Mighty Love'".
