DescriptionRolling Stones Exile on Main Street RIAA Gold Record Award Presented to the Artist (Rolling Stones Records COC 2-2900, 1972). A two-record set recorded in various studios between 1968 and 1972. It reached number one on most world charts and has been ranked by Rolling Stone as number seven on their 500 Greatest Albums of All Time. According to the plaque beneath the gold disc, this award was "Presented To The Rolling Stones To Commemorate The Sale Of More Than One Million Dollars Worth Of The Rolling Stones Records Long-Playing Record Album 'Exile On Main Street.'" Framed to an overall 17.5" x 21.5", and in Very Fine condition with very light scratches on the frame, and minor spots of discoloration to the white matte.
