Osmonds "One Bad Apple" RIAA White Mat Gold Record Sales Award (MGM Records K14193, 1970). Stayed at the top of the Pop charts for five weeks, was almost recorded by the Jackson Five but they went with "ABC" instead. According to the plaque beneath the gold disc, this award was "Presented to The Osmonds to Commemorate the Sale of More Than One Million Copies of the MGM Records Pop Single Record 'One Bad Apple'". Record awards presented to the artists themselves are particularly desirable. Framed in gold-trimmed walnut to an overall 13" x 17". Very Fine condition. From the David Gest Collection.Auction Info
